Your wedding will undeniably be one of the most important and special days of your life. You will ultimately be making a binding promise to the love of your life in front of your friends and family. A day is fleeting however the photographs will hold your love story for all eternity. I strive to ensure that each photograph makes you feel every honest emotion that my camera and I bore wittiness to. 

My approach

My camera and I are witnesses. I am a fly on the wall that captures a glimpse into your soul. As much as possible I will take a documentary approach and allow each moment to unfold magically, crystallized in time through my lens. The goal is for the photographs to each tell a story, they should make you feel emotion. You will feel the excitement of a bride getting ready, you will feel the joy of the mother's tear, you will feel the pride of the father's hug, you will feel the promise in the eyes saying vows, you will feel the the beating heart of the groom at the altar, you will feel the awe of the adorable flower girl, you will feel.

Booking Tay Photography for your wedding

You can easily follow the steps under my "Booking" page.

Once you have booked Tay Photography & paid the 50% deposit I will correspond with you via email and send you a questionnaire to learn more about you, your likes & dislikes as well as what you want from me (your wedding photographer). I pride myself on knowing the bride and groom well enough to enable me to make their photographs portray them honestly and lovingly. I will also send you some advice and tips for getting the most out of your wedding photos.

Fun and creative photography

I enjoy creating fun, funny, creative photographs that capture the happiness and personalities of the people. I think a wedding is a happy day, it is supposed to be celebrated so there should be photographs that capture the essence of pure fun and adventure.

Emotions caught in a photograph

Tears of joy. Uncontrollable laughter. Passionate kisses. I love photographs that show true emotion and as a wedding photographer I aim to capture that raw emotion so that you are able to relive all those emotions and share them again and again with your loved ones.

Photography of the details

I also believe that capturing the smaller details of the day is very important. As the bride and groom spend hours and hours selecting the perfect flowers, their favourite shoes, cute decor, the best lace for the fairy-tale dress etc. it is my job to capture the finer details.
